It started with a few azaleas, a love for growing things, and a vision for what could be.

In the 1960s, Tommy and Jeanette Horne began potting azaleas right here in Crestview, Florida. With their knowledge, hard work, and genuine love of plants, that small beginning grew into Crestview Nurseries—a place built on the belief that growing our own plants allowed us to offer our neighbors better quality, greater variety, and something they could feel good about bringing home.

More than six decades later, those roots still run deep.

Today, we're honoring the history of Crestview Nurseries while growing into something new.

Nestled among more than 20 acres in Crestview, The Thicket at Crestview Nurseries is our vision for what a modern nursery can be.

Of course, you'll still find the plants, trees, shrubs, soil, and garden essentials that have brought generations of Northwest Florida families through our gates. But we're creating something that goes beyond what you can put in the back of your truck.

We're creating a place to stay awhile.

A place to wander beneath the trees. To bring the kids. To discover something new for your garden. To gather around good food and live music. To celebrate the seasons. To learn how to grow something with your own two hands.

Our roots have always been in growing, and we're proud to continue cultivating plants right here at the nursery while sourcing varieties we believe will thrive in our local landscapes.
